Coaching
Not-for-profit mergers and organizational collaborations can create more cost-efficient operations and broaden an organization’s reach. More nonprofit executive teams are considering these types of arrangements as a regular step in strategic planning. Despite growing support for nonprofit mergers, promising organization leadership often stumble over emotionally charged issues such as getting the boards aligned, finding roles for senior staff, and blending the brands. NFP can work with executive staff, board of directors and attorneys as an independent party to explore various collaboration models, create and facilitate a due diligence process that overcomes hurdles and increases the likelihood that a merger will succeed.
