Jennifer White
As a Program Director for the South Florida Association of Grantmakers, she was responsible for the development and facilitation of programs to serve South Florida and national philanthropists including workshops, national webinars, and symposiums. This experience gave her insight into understanding fundraising from the donor prospective. Her role included conducting funder research for the publication, Profiles of South Florida Funders; and the writing and distribution of an electronic newsletter on corporate philanthropy.
Serving on the other side of the not-for-profit sector, she garnered skills in prospect research, grant writing, funder relations and effective program marketing, Jennifer has achieved significant grant awards and understands the importance of relationship building in fundraising and awareness. To reinforce donor relations, hands-on activities such as corporate engagement (CSR) and community outreach initiatives are included in strategic fundraising plans. Jennifer has implemented these activities as well as meaningful donor recognition and retention efforts.
It is Jennifer’s personal mission to not only raise funds for worthy causes, but to rally many dimensions of community support. As a Miami native, Jennifer looks at the community as a whole for resource support. Jennifer’s passion for a cause and ability to think outside of the box has lent to her professional and personal success.
